Since opening in September 2023, the Ned Kelly Discovery Hub (NKDH) has welcomed over 100,000 visitors, cementing its place as a leading cultural attraction in Glenrowan. This milestone, achieved in mid-December 2025, reflects strong community engagement and growing interest in the story of the Glenrowan Siege.

With an average of 2,800 visitors per month, NKDH continues to attract history enthusiasts and travelers seeking immersive experiences. The hub’s success is complemented by recent recognition at the Victorian Tourism Awards, where NKDH won silver in two categories; Cultural Tourism and Tourist Attractions, celebrating its innovative design and impact on regional tourism.

Key achievements include:

  • Silver in both Cultural Tourism and Tourist Attractions at the 2025 Victorian Tourism Awards
  • Bronze for Best New Tourism Business in 2024
  • Hosting record-breaking G’Day Glenrowan events
  • Launching the Glenrowan Siege Walk Map to enhance visitor storytelling

Thank you to everyone who has visited and supported NKDH. We look forward to welcoming even more visitors as we continue to share one of Australia’s most iconic stories.
