Located in Glenrowan—just an hour south of the New South Wales border and nestled between Benalla and Wangaratta—the Hub sits at the site of the Kelly Gang’s infamous last stand.
Take the Melbourne to Albury V/Line train or the Melbourne to Sydney XPT and disembark in Wangaratta.
A bus service runs from Wangaratta to Glenrowan on Wednesday mornings, departing at 11:05 AM from the Wangaratta Coach Stop on Rowan Street and arriving in Glenrowan at 11:20 AM. The return bus leaves Glenrowan at 2:30 PM, arriving back in Wangaratta at 2:45 PM.
Glenrowan is located along the Hume Freeway, approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne, between Benalla and Wangaratta.
From the South (Northbound) Take the Glenrowan exit, continue past the Big Ned, and head to the corner of Gladstone Street and Woolshed Road. You'll find the Ned Kelly Discovery Hub on the left in Lions Park.
From the North (Southbound) Take the Glenrowan exit and follow the signs 1km into Glenrowan. The Discovery Hub will be on your right in Lions Park.
Car parking is available on Woolshed Road or along Gladstone Street.
